Senior Adult Ministries
Senior Adult Ministries (SAM) is designed to give everyone over 45 years of age - our regular and associate members, and winter friends - opportunities for regular fellowship, to be a support for each other and to be partners in the mission and ministry of St Peter Lutheran Church. The group is governed by a Board of Directors who oversee the programs and projects conducted by the group. The Board meets on a monthly basis throughout the fall and winter months. The following opportunities are available for anyone wishing to participate:
SAM Monthly Noon Potluck Meetings (Winter Potluck)
This is an opportunity for anyone to join in friendship, fellowship and good food prepared by those who attend. The potluck meal begins at noon on the second Monday of the month followed by a short devotional presentation. After a short business meeting, the group enjoys some form of entertainment. The program usually consists of music presented by individuals or groups or some other unique presentation, and ends in the early afternoon.
This group will resume their meetings this fall. Watch for further announcements.
SAM Bible Study / Potluck - third Sunday of the month
This group meets at 5 PM at the church, beginning with a potluck meal and followed by a Bible Study conducted by one of the pastors. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to attend these thoughtful studies. Bring a dish to share, your own table service and join in the fellowship.
